Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced a highly ambitious 'Narmada Cruise Project' during the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart events on Saturday, aiming to connect faith, development, and tourism along the state's lifeline, the Narmada River.

This significant cultural and spiritual journey will traverse from Meghnath Ghat in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh to the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. The project is expected to provide a new identity to Madhya Pradesh in religious and cultural tourism while simultaneously promoting economic development and generating employment opportunities across the region.

The launch of the Narmada Cruise is viewed as a major step by the state government towards capitalizing on the immense potential of riverine tourism and pilgrimage routes.

To bring this historic initiative to fruition, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, awarded 'Letters of Acceptance' (LoA) to five companies for the execution of the cruise project.

The recipient companies include Jungle Camps India, Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Limited (two LoAs), Absolute Tech Management LLP (two LoAs), Seina Infotainment Pvt. Ltd. Indore, and M/s HT.
