House of Guinness continues to be a Netflix hit and the historical drama byPeaky Blinders creator Steven Knightis based on the true story of the Guinness family.
In the series, Arthur Guinness (played by Anthony Boyle) is forced to hide his sexuality as if the truth were to come out, it would ruin his family's legacy.
As a cover up, he marries Lady Olivia Hedges-White, who is fully on board with his secret and supports him as a friend.
Lady Olivia is played by Danielle Galligan, a 32-year-old Irish actress and poet who began her career in stage productions.
In her early career, she featured in short films such as Strangers in the Park, which she co-wrote, and she made her TV debut in 2019 with guest roles in Game of Thrones and Krypton.

Her first major TV role was as Nina Zenik in the Netflix series Shadow and Bone, starting off as a recurring character in season one before being promoted to a series regular.
Galligan also appeared in the RTÉ crime drama Kin as Molly, a potential love interest for Michael Kinsella, played by Charlie Cox.
She had a recurring role in the first season, before being promoted to a member of the main cast for season two.
Later, in 2023, she played Mallory Markum in the dark comedy series Obituary with Siobhán Cullen, for which she received an IFTA nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

As for her film credits, she made her feature film debut as Naomi in Who We Love, which is a remake of the 2016 short film Lily.
She went on to star in the film Lakelands alongside Éanna Hardwicke, with both stars winning the Bingham Ray New Talent Award at the Galway Film Fleadh.
Following her success in House of Guinness, she is now playing Claire Walsh in a new series called The Walsh Sisters.
The show is an adaptation of the works of Marian Keyes and it made its debut on RTÉ One at the end of September.
