Bhubaneswar: Pradeep Kumar Jena was on Sunday elected as the next President of Bhubaneswar Club.
In a high-profile contest between two former Chief Secretaries, Jena defeated incumbent Asit Tripathy by a margin of 18 votes.
Lalit Das was elected Secretary, winning by 76 votes.
Pragati Kumar Mohanty won the Vice-President’s election by 60 votes, while Sambeet Mohanty was elected Joint Secretary by a margin of 68 votes.
E-voting for the elections was held on Saturday, and voting on ballots took place on Sunday.
