Prince William is said to be "spitting blood" over the scandal involving his disgraced uncle, Prince Andrew, according to a royal commentator.
Andrew has been dominating headlines in recent weeks after new details about his links to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein emerged.
Last week, the royal relinquished all his titles and honours ahead of his abuse accuser, Virginia Giuffre's posthumous memoir's release. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing.
After Andrew's bombshell announcement last Friday, reports claimed the Prince of Wales played a key role in the decision.
And now a royal commentator has weighed in on what the heir could feel like amid the latest string of bombshells that are affecting the Royal Family regarding his uncle.
Royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror: "I think William was a prime mover in the decision to force Andrew to give up his titles. And there are reports, which I believe, that if necessary, he will go much further when he is King.
"I think he is spitting blood about the way this whole scandal is tarnishing the wider Royal Family."
She questioned: "How would you feel if you were born into this strange destiny, told you had to grow up to be King, spend your life doing the best you can given the platform you have, only for all your work to be obliterated by a scandal involving your uncle?"
Ms Bond noted on William and Andrew's frosty relationship, saying: "I don't think there is any love lost between William and Andrew."
It comes as the Mail on Sunday reported that William wants his uncle to move out of his Royal Lodge Home soon, ahead of his family's move to closeby Forest Lodge by Bonfire night.
A source told the outlet: "William wants him gone before they start to move in next week. It's not about what Andrew doesn't want to do anymore. It's about what he's going to be told to do."
Meanwhile, Andrew could be faced with fresh humiliation soon, as Parliament plans to debate his future regarding his 30-room mansion in Windsor and the possibility of stripping him of his dukedom.
The Government has so far refused to allocate time in the House of Commons for MPs to discuss Andrew's situation because the Royal Family wants Parliament to focus on "important issues".
However, the issue could be raised on a day when ministers are not in control of the parliamentary timetable.
